The Lighthouse

At The Lighthouse in Dubai Hills, design becomes a medium for connection—bringing together culinary culture, art, and community within a thoughtfully curated space. Conceived by Archer Humphryes Architects, the venue exemplifies a design approach that balances contemporary refinement with tactile warmth.

The spatial layout is carefully orchestrated to encourage both intimacy and energy, featuring a layered mix of bar seating, relaxed lounges, high tables, a DJ booth, and an 80-seat restaurant anchored by an open kitchen. Material selections—rattan, linen, natural woods, and leather—are paired with lush areca palms and vibrant artwork curated by founder Hashem Montasser, creating an environment that is both sensorially rich and deeply personal. The result is a space that fosters storytelling and social exchange through deliberate, human-centric design.
